Son returning home after getting his father treated died in a road accident in Bihar Nalanda late on Thursday night. On Friday morning, the relatives took the dead body and reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The case is of Akauna Bihari Ghat near Mirzapur village under Ben police station area. The deceased has been identified as Mukesh Yadav (37), son of Sukhdev Yadav, a resident of Vishu Bigha village under the police station area. Sukhdev Yadav and his another son Santosh Yadav were also injured in the road accident.
Injured Santosh Yadav told that after getting his father treated last night, he was returning to his village by tempo from Janaro village. Meanwhile an animal crossed the road. He then asked the driver to stop. But the driver kept driving the tempo at high speed. Then a little further ahead the tempo became uncontrolled and overturned in the ditch near Bihari Ghat Mirzapur of Akouna village. In this accident, all three father-son got buried under it. Whereas, the tempo driver narrowly escaped.
Santosh told that then the tempo driver got busy on the phone instead of taking them away. They called for help. But the tempo driver ignored them and ran away while talking on the mobile. Mukesh Yadav was seriously injured in this incident. He was admitted to a private clinic for treatment. Where the doctor declared him dead.
Santosh Yadav’s daughter’s marriage was going to happen on 26 May. After the death of uncle in a road accident, the happiness in the marriage house turned into mourning. Mukesh Yadav has two daughters and a son. As soon as the news of the death in the road accident was received, the cries of the family members started echoing in the village.
Ben Police Station President Pawan Kumar told that after getting treatment, all the people were returning home riding on the tempo. Meanwhile, the tempo lost control near the turn and overturned in the pit. A youth died in this incident. The dead body has been taken into custody and sent for postmortem. Police has started taking further action.
